These terms apply when you use the BlueOak Solutions website and our Android and iOS apps. By using them, you accept these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.
Who provides the service
The website and apps are provided by BlueOak Solutions, a commercial and residential cleaning company. You can reach us by email at aleotcanada@gmail.com or by phone at +1 437 808 4349.
Service area
We serve Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Mississauga, Toronto, and Greater Toronto Area. If you are not sure we cover your location, you can still send a request and we will let you know.
Quotes and proposals
- Estimates are free, and a quote request does not commit you or BlueOak to anything.
- After reviewing your request, we may send you a proposal in the app with a price in Canadian dollars, the scope of work and a date until which it is valid.
- A quote is a non-binding estimate until you accept the proposal in the app. You can also decline it.
- You can withdraw a request while we are still reviewing it, before we send a proposal. An accepted quote that will not be scheduled can be cancelled by you or by BlueOak, with a reason.
- We do not take payments through the website or apps. Payment is arranged directly with BlueOak, and we may record its status in the app so you can see it.
Your account
- You sign in with an existing Google, Apple, Microsoft or Facebook account. We never see your password, and you are responsible for keeping that account secure.
- Use the service only for genuine requests. Do not try to access other people's information or to overload the service. Daily usage limits apply, and we may block an account that misuses the service.
- Access for our crew and owners is by invitation only, and BlueOak can revoke it.
- You can delete your account and your data at any time. See Data Deletion.
Reviews
- Only signed-in clients can leave a review, after booking a service with BlueOak. Each person can leave one review.
- Your review must describe your own experience.
- BlueOak moderates every review before it is published, and may reject a review or remove a published one.
- With your consent, we publish your first name, rating and review. Reviews are shown in the language they were written in. We never publish invented reviews.
- Deleting your account removes your review.
Website content and availability
The website describes our services in general terms. The scope and price of a specific service are those in the proposal you accept. We work to keep the website and apps available, but they may be interrupted at times, for example for maintenance or because of our service providers.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, BlueOak Solutions is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or apps, or for interruptions, errors or loss of data caused by third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we publish the new version on this page with a new effective date. The version that applies is the one with the latest effective date shown at the top of this page.
